The Story of Prophet adam (PBUH)

Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) is one of the Prophets. Allah Almighty has specifically mentioned Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) in the Quran in the matter of patience. He is from the generation of Prophet Ishaq (peace be upon him). All Prophets are from the generation of Prophet Ishaq (peace be upon him) only Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is from the generation of Prophet Ismail (peace be upon him). Allah revealed revelations to all the prophets and Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) is one of those prophets. Allah Almighty sent him to the people of Suran as a messenger and this nation was in the country of Syria (Shaam). He was very wealthy and had countless cattle. He had vast land for agriculture and he was a great merchant and was blessed by Allah with seven sons and seven daughters and he was very healthy and strong. Allah Almighty had blessed him with various blessings.

Allah Almighty wanted to test Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) so that you become an example of patience for those who come later. Finally, the patience phase has started for him. All of his wealth is gone and he become a pauper in your life. During the lifetime of Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him), all his children became dear to Allah. The trial did not end here, he fell ill with a serious illness, it was so severe that he was unable to walk and stand. Even the flesh of his body began to fall off as his ordeal reached its climax.

Except for two companions, all the companions left Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) company fearing that the disease might not catch them too. Only his very faithful wife was with him to serve. The situation was such that all the property was gone and his wife used to earn money by working in other people's houses and supporting her husband and herself. This trial of Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) continued for 18 years.

He never complained to anyone. Once his wife said to him that you are the Messenger of Allah. If you pray to Allah, He will accept your prayer. So she said that you prayed to Allah for your healing, then Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) said to his wife that I have spent these eighty years in prosperity and Allah has given me these things as a test, so I do not consider myself worthy of it, and I am satisfied with the pleasure of Allah

Then, with time, people forbade Prophet Ayub's wife from doing housework because they thought that it was an infectious disease and that she would not bring this disease into their house. It is mentioned in Surah Anbiya that at that time Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) asked Allah for a small prayer. And that prayer was O Allah, have mercy on me.

Allah accepted their supplication and ended their trial and said to strike their feet and when they struck their feet on the ground, a spring of water flowed out from there, and bathing in this water cured external diseases, and drinking this water also cured internal diseases. It is the favor of Allah that he will be healthy again and he will be healthy as if he was never sick.

When the wife of Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) returned home, she did not recognize him, but when she recognized him, she said, "Subhan Allah, Allah has removed your illness." Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, says that when the trial of Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) ended, Allah blessed not only Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) but also blessed his wife with a special blessing. Allah gave them back their property and cattle and blessed them with children. Allah gave them back their youth and twenty-six sons and daughters were born to them. All of them are also mentioned in Surah Anbiya.

When Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) was sick and his wife asked him to pray and he refused to pray, his wife got a little angry. On that, Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) swore at that time that when I recover, I will give her a hundred lashes. When they recovered and it was time to fulfill the oath, Allah told Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) that instead of giving one hundred lashes, he should collect one broom and tier it into hundred parts then hit his wife once with these hundred parts of one broom. In this way, your oath will be fulfilled and fulfill your promise and do not go back from your oath.

Conclusion

When Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) recovered after 18 years, someone asked him, "Do you remember the days of your illness?" He said, "Yes, I do." and replied those days were more fun than today, so the friend asked how? So he said that when he was sick, Allah used to ask me once a day how Ayub was doing. I remember the pleasure in that voice. So that voice doesn't come anymore. From the events of Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him), we learn that a house in which there is religion is a prosperous house. Allah never leaves those who are patient alone. Indeed, Allah makes the fruit of patience very sweet and increases it according to His glory.
